Numbers for Every Man, Woman and Child in the Country
State and local governments are cutting budgets to stay afloat in these hard economic times since things aren’t going quite like they expected when they first approved those budgets.  While the governments nearest to the people slash and reduce, the United States federal government keeps adding new multi-billion dollar debt schemes onto the already out-of-control pile.  Read Numbers for Every Man, Woman and Child in the Country

May Palace
909 Main Avenue

The May Palace opened in September 1986 in the Assay Office building and moved downtown in February 1992.  Miss Ling (Yaling in Yen), aka the Dragon Lady, owner since 1989, is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese, English and Spanish. Durango’s Isolationist Version of An American Ideal
“Give me your tired, poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”  This statement is just a part of the quotation on the plaque of the Statue of Liberty at the southern end of New York Harbor.  For 122 years, this Ellis Island Lady has welcomed and inspired many who helped weave the human fabric of the United States of America. Peeping Tom Poltergeist on the Prowl
I think my house is haunted!  My boyfriend and I bought a place last summer, and some very strange things are happening.  It’s an old house that was built in the 1800s, and I believe we are sharing it with a ghost.  Even when I am alone in the place, I feel like I’m being watched.  I hear footsteps in the next room, but no one is there.  Sometimes, there's a cold wind, or a strange smell like roses and sighs, even in a room with all the doors and windows closed. Read Peeping Tom Poltergeist on the Prowl

Get It Together with Organization
Overflowing and disheveled desktops, filing trays, drawers, cabinets and closets are good indicators that it’s time to jump into the middle of that disarray and get control. Organizing can seem like an overwhelming task to many, leaving them feeling hopeless and not knowing where to begin. But that’s easy, you just begin with the basic concept of “like goes with like”.
